A Little About Bitter Root Kennel
BRK is a small business located in the country. I have been hunting for over 40
years. When I was a kid and had saved enough money, my step-dad allowed me
to buy an English setter. Years later, I bought my oldest friend, Sam. Sam lived to
be 18 years old. We won many field trials together in the south and south west.
During that time, I became disgruntled with some of the things I saw in those field
trials. So, after that, I went on to train hunting and gun dogs for myself. When I
bought Brian, it was love at first sight. He (Brian) is the starter kit for developing a
kennel as a loving hobby and small business. Brian learned a lot from following
Kate in the field! I was shocked at how fast he picked up on commands, and not
just because he is mine. Brian is very intelligent, and one fine gun dog. He is the
back bone of Bitter Root Kennel !
