Kirk
My boyfriend; in his younger days used to train and hunt German short hairs. That was a while back.
He recently retired and is doing a lot of nothing. With Valentines coming the best present I gave him
was your pup Gunner. He said he could never top that gift. I have never seen such a smart pup. He
sits, fetches and shakes. Now at 9 1/2 weeks old he is sight pointing and holding it. He enjoys it
more than anything. With Todd's training short hairs in the past he is amazed at this pups bloodlines
and intelligence. He has great hunting skills at such a young age. I have never seen Todd so pleased
with a dog. Thank you both for having such great pups for hunting and making Todd happy too!

Kirk,
Maybell was not going to be a choice for a dog I bought her from you that you had started training.
When I bought her I thought the name was goofy. But she has made goofy out of other dogs in the
field. I couldn't be more happy to see the results. Rob B. LA

Kirk,
Good to see you back in the Bird Dog business. I remember hunting with old Sam  from many years
ago. Pat W.  Seen the pictures of Brian it looks like you are back on track. Good Luck Buddy. TX
PS. I didn't want to pay that kind of money on a dog again, but you've always been straight up front
and this one is going to be a good one.

Hi, Kirk
Sorry, we're getting back to you so late but we were away this weekend and it's always so crazy
around here with three girls. They keep us going all the time.
We wanted to let you know we're very happy with RJ. He's a very smart little pup; he's already
learning his commands and showing excellent hunting traits.
We brought RJ for his checkup last week and our vet had only good things to say about him. He has
a very good disposition, very confident about himself and a nice sharp high tail. This all comes from
an avid bird dog hunter.
Also we wanted to comment on the way RJ shipped to us. He was shipped to us very professionally
and clean! For a long trip, RJ managed himself very well. He seems to be a confident and secure
pup,  pup, therefore, allowing for great training progress with him.
We're hoping to hunt with you this fall!
Thanks for everything!
Sincerely, Rico and Carmela D'Appollonio
PS  Rico will be sending some pictures to you of RJ via mail. TDC
 Hi Kirk,
Hope all is well. Cool beans about the pups and theTV proggram in CO.I agree that there is
something special about your dogs and pups. Winston is unbelievably intelligent. He suprises me
everyday. He is a great little dude, and smart as hell! He looks you in the eye, and listens then it does
not take long for him to figure things out! And does it.He is quite the offspring of loggerhead Brian.
Take care, and keep in touch!

 Hi, Kirk
Ben, aka "Enduro" is doing well. He's such a good pup and a  vase welcome addition to our family.
We're currently in the process house (local) with a substantial amount of property. Ben loves and I
believe he's going to make a very good point as soon a his place. That pup is VERY smart and he
learns almost daily now he's got sit, woah, come, stay, and "paw" down pat. Anyway to send you
some updated pictures tonight.

Kirk:
King Louis has been doing great. He still has some work to do to become solid and "stay" pretty
good. He is not where I want him to be on "come" but I hope to spend the summer and get him solid
on that. He absolutely goes nuts whenever I get a break to have not done that as often as I would like,
but again, my plan over summer break event.
Louis' only weakness is a tendency to piddle when he is excited almost always with being out
for the day or when he sees them first thing in the morning. I can be up and the kids comes down
from their bedroom, he just gets so excited same if someone from school.
The family really loves him and he gets loads of attention. I tell everyone that in my opinion
when he points that first bird, he will become a great dog.
Two interesting stories. As I mentioned to you when we bought him, we have a cabin house
so Louise gets a chance about twice a week to go up there with us. He loves healthy respect for
cows and horses. First story happened about four weeks ago...working on a tractor and looked up
just as Louis was chasing, and then caught a flea chase/catch bugs. But you could tell he was just
crazy excited about this bird he found.
Second story was about two weeks later. We had taken him with us on the four when one point
we stopped to visit  across the fence with a neighbor so we released Louis Anyway, the bird landed
on a fence about fifty yards away from where the chase be in a beautiful point. Of course, as soon as
he did that, I hollered "whoa" a couple of praise. There is no doubt he is "birdy". Now the challenge is
to train him and his own to score some game in the bag.

Roger with his new family.
Thanks Bonnie and Phil for the
pictures and the great new home you
have provided for him.
He turned out to be a good looking
dog (Kirk knew he would be).
Father and Sons and
Friends
Rico here. An FYI- on this past Sunday, 10/5/2008, the RJ and I took 1st place in the Field Trial we entered
him here in CT.
He's was the quickest to find the birds and the prettiest on the other dogs were having trouble finding the
birds due to scent caused by the heavy rains we had. But, it didn't seem "RJinator"!
A friend of mine said he would recommend your bloodline to an
yone.Would you send me some business
card,s so that I can pass them around to people who wanted my breeder,s info.

     Your friend, Rico

Kirk, I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my puppy Dutch who is 11 month old. I was just
hunting in North Dakota and Dutch was fantastic. He held pointing beautifully and probably found  three times
as many birds as the other pointing dogs I was hunting with did not believe the dog was less than a year old.
Dutch is already the best dog I have owned to hunt with and I have had bird dogs for thirty years!
Thanks again for the great dog!
